Classic Vanilla Shortbread  has always been reminiscent of a truly classic shortbread cookie. This traditional shortbread, or a similar flavour-type have been made as early as the 12th Century, however its invention is most often attributed to Mary Queen of Scots in the 16th Century.

One of Chef Mark's all time favourite cookies, this is an elegant cookie, with a clean and buttery taste.

Made with half of the sugar of Grandma's shortbread, this cookie is the ideal treat for a diabetic or someone watching their sugar.

With less than a gram of sugar in each cookie, the natural shelf life on this cookie is 12-13 months!

Pair with a cup of tea, on the side of ice cream or sorbet, this cookie evens goes well with a wee dram of whiskey!
